Warm Winter | Support and care for people affected by cold and winter in several countries 2026
More than 288,000 families in Gaza are facing winter in worn-out tents, and their suffering is worsening due to increasing rainfall and intensifying cold. In Sudan, over 10 million internally displaced people are facing serious health and life risks and harsh living conditions, which grow more severe due to exposure to cold weather, weakened immunity, the spread of infectious diseases, and rising malnutrition rates. In other countries, hundreds of thousands of displaced people, refugees, and impoverished families also suffer from cold, winter storms, snow, and floods, amid the absence of proper infrastructure and weak social care services in their communities.
Through this rapid intervention, we will provide essential winter relief supplies, including: coal, winter clothing, heaters, mats and mattresses, blankets, clothing, fuel, coal, food, and shelter for those in need across several countries and regions, most notably: Palestine (Gaza Strip), Turkey, Lebanon, Jordan, Sudan, Yemen, Bangladesh, Albania, and Kosovo.
Estimated support cost for one family: 30 KWD.
